Founder of Miraval Holdings. Serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in running private companies in the US and Europe. Founder of Locomotive Group of companies and the US CTA Valcapital; holds a US Series 3 and 34 license. 

Rafael Guardans
BoD Member

Chairman of FIES Foundation; member of the advisory board of The Resource Foundation (USA), Save the Children Spain and the Spanish Association of Foundations. Former founder and CEO of two foundations focused on socio-economic development in Latin America. 

Vicente López-Ibor Mayor
Advisory Board Member

Former general manager of institutional relations of Grupo FCC; former chairman of Lightsource BP Ltd; and previously a commissioner of the Spanish National Energy Commission and the National Electricity System Commission.  Chairman of Ampere Energy and president of the European Federation of Energy Law Associations.

Emilio de la Guardia
BoD Member

More than 30 years of experience in the finance sector in different countries with the EIB (European Investment Bank) in corporate financing, structuring of project financing operations and venture capital and investment banking (mergers and acquisitions, LBOs and MBOs). Founding partner and Director of APD Morocco, as well as Partner and Vice President of Maderfibra Internacional (industrial wood packaging company) in Spain and Dubai.

Sue Munden
BoD Member

Sue has extensive experience in emerging market equities and has specialised in real estate. She currently heads the EMEA real estate team at Bloomberg Intelligence. She has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and London holding senior analyst and portfolio manager roles at Director level. She has experience in listing emerging market real estate companies in London. Sue is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a Joint Honours Degree in Economics & Statistics from Southampton University.

formerly a senior associate at the law firm Python & Peter and Corporate Lawyer at Lombard Odier. Expert in banking law.

Fernando Martin
CFO and BoD Member

Previously the LATAM CFO for the European engineering firm INCOSA (European engineering consulting company); former business consultant at ISDEFE and Project Manager at IZAR. Professor of IFRS of cost management and advanced financial models in Colombian universities.
